Missed Opportunity Cost
Todays blog will be short. I am thinking about how got a chance to witness a small business miss an opportunity over a flight. I recall being at meting and there was suppose to be a renewable energy company present to 15 entities about bring reenable energy to their area. I was asked to come and be a second set of hears for 1 of the 15 entities. All together the entities represented over a $100 million dollars in assets. Due to the meeting running late by 1 hour the presenting company had a conflict. The conflict was there flight was leaving 1 and 1/2 hours when they was call to present. They choose to past out the presentation and say call us if you have any questions We have a flight to catch". Not sure if the small business had the resources to change the flight and stay another day. Not enough time allocated for schedule hiccups can become a missed opportunity. Thanks for your time.
