What is a example of marketing a educational service through sports?

What is example of marketing  a product through sports?

In todays blog I am going to give an example of how colleges grow their student body through sports.   Yesterday Brigham Young University (BYU) played Colorado University in a collegiate football game.  The game featured future NFL players such as bit not limited to Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders.  BYU won the game but also won in the google trends category.  BYU had over 5,000 searches in the last 24 hours in the education category of google trends.  As far as Colorado they did not make it to google trends in the education category.  Colorado Football did have over 500k searchers which put them at #2  for Google's overall what's trending now category.

Let's say for conversation purposes BYU enroll 250 people as freshman who was apart of the 5000 plus search under the education category. BYU total cost of attendance, ranges from $22,004 to $51,848 for two semesters, depending on the program and student living arrangements. Lets use 22,004 and multiply it by 250 students the sum is $5,501,000. Since two semesters are equals 1 year.  If only 125 students remain over the next 3 years and graduate. BYU estimated revenue from the marketing of education services  through a sports a game will lead to an estimated $13,752,500. This is one example of how to market a educational service through sports. Thanks for your time. Power Up!
